As we start the new year, there have been some who have asked "When can I submit my application for a family grant?"

The answer is complicated....historically, $30,000 has been our yearly budget for our family grant that has afforded us the opportunity to help over 150 families in the Miami Valley. We were able to maintain this budget through vigorous fundraising efforts, mainly driven by our yearly 5K Walk/Run and various donations.

This past year was hard on us and like many other non-profit organizations, we also struggled to raise funds despite our efforts. We want to remain relevant and sustainable, and be good stewards of the funds donated to us, which has led us to the decision to pause our family grant program as of now. This will give us a chance to revamp it and develop a program that is feasible and sustainable. So, the answer is ...."Unfortunately, not yet."
